The first screen edit session took place in the impressive surroundings of the Birkbeck cinema in Euston, London on Thursday. Screen edit is described by Tricky, the event organiser as... who knows I can’t be arsed to turn the sound up on my computer to listen, so I’ll explain it instead. On this occasion it was a show case for interactive design with guest speakers all of us and Brendan Dawes, Magnetic North. All of us kicked off with a pretty down to earth and relaxed chat, showcasing their work including “Doodle Earth” which uses Microsoft’s Silverlight and, not google earth the other one that Microsoft own, to allow users to graffiti the shit out of our lovely planet! Secondly was Brendan Dawes who opened by saying he was going to wing it which was OK but lost a little direction and focused a lot on his personal projects. That said some of his stuff was very cool, in fact both the speakers rocked it, so much so I am thinking about throwing out my easel and buying a computer!

The Coolest Watch in History?

After a little research today for a “client” I came across a piece of history that makes what was a good watch, the Rolex GMT Master “pepsi bezel”, a super fly watch. The fact that they are no longer being made and that they are a steel Rolex sports watch means that firstly you’re not going to lose money on one if you buy it at a reasonable enough price, but secondly and far more important is that Hunter S. Thompson, Magnum P.I and Che Guevara all wore one, so if it’s good enough for them, hell it’s good enough for you!

What’s the Big Idea?

Let the blogging commence! (insert scratching head here) Lets start by telling all y’all about wanted design. We are a small creative agency in Maidstone who specialise in off-line design. We’re not like most “local agencies” we’re all about the big ideas. If you’re looking for an interesting spin on your marketing, need a brochure that rocks or need any creative guidance then wanted design is a really good place to start.
